Another crazy weekend

This weekend was a very busy one! Friday night I went to my cousin's bachelorette party at the Sundance. I had a blast catching up with my cousins and dancing the night away! Dani had a fun last night with the girls before she took the plunge!

Saturday we attended my sister, Steph's wedding. It was a very nice day for a wedding. I wish them all the best. From there we went to my cousin, Emily's graduation party. Emily graduated with her Bachelor's in Human Development and Family Studies. Congratulations all around!

Sunday was Mother's Day so we spent time with all the mother's in our lives. We were able to spend a few hours with Donna at church and the pot luck after church. Then we met up with Anne, Dad, and my grandparents at Red Lobster. Happy Mother's Day to all of you who have that honor!

In the midst of all the other celebrations we were able to squeeze in some birthday celebration for ME!! We went to the Silver Grill for brunch on Sunday with the Davis crew. They put candles in my French Toast. It was so cute!! On Saturday night we went with Mom and John to Johnny Carino's to celebrate both my birthday and Mother's Day with my Mom! Also after Red Lobster on Sunday my Dad and Anne took me shopping for my birthday and they bought me a new camera!!!

Well, I hope this finds you all doing well. I will hopefully have some more exciting pictures on my next post because of my new camera!!

What a wreck

I don't know where to start because it all happend so fast. Jeremy and I were headed to look at a house that Jeremy needed to preview. When I got into the left hand turn lane to turn someone pulled in front of us and BOOM we hit him. There was traffice between the other driver so neither of us really saw it coming. We tried to slam on the brakes, but it just wasn't enough. It was not a fun evening. At least nobody was hurt, it could've been a lot worse. I praise God that he kept us safe! Jeremy and I are both a little sore, but I think that everything will be okay.

It really makes you think about how fragile life is. I really thought about how blessed I am to have Jeremy in my life. He called the police, the tow truck, and the shop that is going to work on the car. He is my knight in shinning armor. I don't know how I would've been able to handle it alone. I just froze, I didn't get out of the car for quite awhile. Jeremy got out to see if the other driver was okay. Thank you honey from the bottom of my heart! I am so glad that he is okay! I don't think I could make it through life without him.

I just pray that the weeks to come won't be too hard on us. I know that it will be somewhat difficult dealing with insurance companies etc.
